The owner acquired the home in near-original condition in Capitol Hill. Inspired by the opportunity to personalize it while honoring its inherent character. Exposed brick walls, skylights, and original hardwood flooring preserved much of the home’s charm, while thoughtfully curated updates—including vibrant accents, custom cherry millwork, and a newly constructed rear deck—allowed the owner to make the space distinctly their own.
