The clients sought to restore their historic residence in Capitol Hill to its original character and architectural integrity. The porch, which had been removed in the 1990s, left the façade feeling incomplete. A new porch was thoughtfully designed and constructed to reflect the home’s historic detailing, incorporating tapered columns and a traditional tongue-and-groove ceiling to seamlessly reinstate its timeless presence.
